Say hello to one of my birthday presents: a Tory Burch "Brady" cardigan! A couple weekends ago my mom took my sister and I out birthday shopping. We went to Marshalls (two locations) and TJ Maxx! This was one of our TJ Maxx finds, they had a few other Tory Burch pieces but this one was calling my name. I always love Tory's clothes but this is the first piece I've ever owned! FINALLY! Sadly her regular prices are just too much for me.

The sweater perfectly matches my thrifted Ferragamo skirt, how convenient. Sadly the skirt doesn't get much wear because I find it a little hard to style. But at only $10 it was worth it. See how I wore it here and here.

Cardigan: Tory Burch (TJ Maxx), Skirt: Salvatore Ferragamo (Coco's $10 sale), Booties: No.704b. (DSW), Necklace: Indulgems (Gilt), Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Gilt), Ring c/o Kendra Scott,

Ever since I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (way back in 1999) I wanted a Weasley sweater so I could match Harry, Ron, Fred and George! Back in 2008, Entertainment Weekly named the sweater number 7 on their list of 20 Great Pop Culture Sweaters. I learned to knit so I could make my own house scarves, but sadly sweaters were a little out of my league. But last year Warner Bros. finally started selling replicas of the famed sweaters to satisfy my 15 year wish. You can buy Ron or Harry at their theme parks or the London Studio Tour! For this first outfit I went basic with jeans, but I might try to make it more stylish with a leather skirt or something soon.

I bought this on my last trip to Universal at the end of July. I had wanted to buy it when I visited in January and June but they weren't selling them until the Diagon Alley expansion opened. I've been there more this year than I've been to Florida in my entire life. I've only been 4 times, 3 have been this year.  And I will hopefully be going back next January if I'm invited to their second "Celebration of Harry Potter." (which I should be...) Harry Potter sure gets me to go places!

Since it was gross outside, I thought it only fitting to take the pictures in front of part of my Harry Potter collection. Sadly most of it is in boxes at my parents house because I don't have enough room for it all, but these are my favorite/most recent acquisitions. I've been collecting for over 10 years so I've amassed quite the collection. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but pieces from my collection are featured in a book - Harry Potter Collector's Handbook.

Rainy days call for jeans and over-sized sweaters.  I scored this cute Mickey State sweater at Coco's for $10 (or was it $5?) last year and was so excited to finally wear it! I'm a huge Disney fan so this sweater makes me super happy. Whenever I'm sad or depressed I just pick out a Disney movie and it instantly cheers me up.  For that reason, I will forever be a Disney child! :)

The in-between Summer/Fall days where you can wear a sweater with a skirt and not die of heat or freeze your legs off are some of my favorites! On this particular day I headed to a local farm to buy some apple pie and check out their "scarecrow festival" which turned out to be a big blue tarp where you make scarecrows. A bit of a let down, ha ha. But the pie was good!

While I'm perfectly comfortable wearing sweaters with skirts and no tights, I'm still trying to master the sneaker trend without looking like a weirdo. I can't help but feel a little weird in this outfit even though it's cute.  But I didn't get any strange looks, so I guess that's a win!

Sweater: Anthropologie, Skirt: Chanel (Roundabout Resale), Sneakers: Keds (DSW), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Saks Friends & Family Sale), Watch: Skagen (RueLaLa), Sunglasses c/o GlassesShop

I really like this sweater I bought at Marshalls (gift card), it's super soft and really comfortable. You can't really see in the photos, but the back buttons up, which is a really fun touch! I find myself throwing it on when I'm not sure what I want to wear. For instance, I wore this outfit to drive up to my Aunt's house last weekend. I had also just gotten out of the shower, hence the wet hair and no makeup. But hey, I like to keep things real on the blog!

This past weekend I went to my college best friend's wedding! I hadn't seen her since we graduated 4 years ago because she lives quite a while from me and we could never connect. It was great to see her on her special day and get to share it with her and was like no time had passed! We went right back to making crazy faces at each other from across the room. She and her fiance got married in the English Garden at Wickham Park and, since we were in nature, I thought it was the perfect day to wear the Anthropologie dress Lydia got me for my birthday last year after I saw it in a consignment store.  I'm sad it's taken me this long to actually wear it, but I wanted it's first outing to be perfect! It was only fitting that Lydia take my photos for me, so I had her take them a couple weeks before the wedding. It got some compliments, so I think I made the right choice!

It was a small wedding, less than 50 people, but I only knew one other person apart from my friend and her fiance, and that was the maid of honor. I also went to school with her and it was fun to catch up with her too! Although I stalk everyone on Facebook frequently, it's more fun to chat in person.  She even got me on the dance floor a few times which, if you know me, is a major feat! We were the crazy girls slow dancing together with all the couples.

Dress: "Artist Rendering" Dress by Odille (Anthropologie), Heels: Lanvin (Roundabout Resale), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Net-A-Porter), Necklace: House of Harlow c/o South Moon Under, Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Gilt), Bracelets: Ten Thousand Villages
