I'm not going to share a million shows from fashion week this year, but I will be sharing a handful of favorites.  There are still a ton but I narrowed it down a bit.  So without wasting more space with words:

3.1 Phillip Lim:

Elizabeth and James:

Joie:

Marc by Marc Jacobs:

Sass & Bide:

Rebecca Taylor:

This is coming a little late, but here is what I wore on Valentine's Day when a friend and I went to see Alton Brown Live! Thankfully it was nice and warm that night because we had a lot of walking to do! We had dinner at a fun Italian restaurant, then went and enjoyed the show followed by a DELICIOUS dessert! This was definitely my favorite Valentine's Day yet, I'm glad I actually went out instead of sitting at home watching movies (like I do every night)

And a couple photos from the event, we had a VIP meet & greet before the show and then were sitting first row!. Alton liked my necklace, he said it was 'glorious.'

Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE Star Wars, so naturally I had to love Rodarte's Fall 2014 collection. The last 5 looks all had Star Wars imagery on them, I actually want to buy one! Too bad they will be far too expensive. Those are the kind of pieces where you either love them, or hate them. I am probably in the minority, as most people find them a bit too out there. Laura and Kate Mulleavy always take us to new places and this year was no different. So much pattern and fabric mixing, and it was done right. Sometimes mixing patterns and textures can go horribly wrong, but here it was perfect. See my favorite looks from Fall 2012 and Spring 2012.

And next we have Mary Katrantzou's collection.

I hope everyone had a good week. Four day weeks are always great in my opinion.  Every day this week I kept thinking it was a day earlier, so today really feels like Thursday...but it's Friday. Score!

Now that I'm only going into the office three days a week I'm going to try and up my style game and not wear jeans as often (only once a week.) But I have a feeling that won't last too long, I love my jeans! I wore an old favorite (Marc Jacobs blazer) and new favorite (Veronica Beard dress) this week.  Hopefully my new jean-limit forces me to wear pieces I haven't worn in a while too. And pieces that I have been neglecting, even though I love them.
Tuesday: Blazer: Marc Jacobs (eBay), Tee: Everlane, Jeans: J Brand c/o Marshalls (similar),  Boots: R2 (DSW), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Rings: vintage, Brilliant Imports snake ring & Mom's

Thursday: Dress: Veronica Beard (Roundabout Resale), Boots: Chloe (Roundabout Resale), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Rings: vintage, Brilliant Imports snake ring & Mom's
Christopher Bailey has done it again. He proves time and time again that he can create something new and interesting for Burberry Prorsum.  This season he showed hand-painted bags and shoes along with gorgeous printed dresses and jackets!  For the final walk the models even had monogrammed capes, I need one, too bad they'll probably be $1400! It's almost like the collection is a hippie version of the classic Burberry we know. It's the same silhouettes, but more free-flowing and flowery.

For the past few weeks I've been using a new-to-me site, Groopdealz, which is a sample-sale type website for local artists and etsy shops. The shop offers a deal on an item with a 30-90% savings. Each Monday GroopDealz adds a total of 20 of these deals and they will run for 24 hours. Once the 24 hours are up that deal will be gone. Each day new items are added. The site is a great way to shop and save when it comes to women's fashion apparel, women’s accessories, home goods and kids items. It’s always fun to see what the site has on any day.

I picked up this great skirt for $16.99 (regular $39.99) and the necklace for $9 (regular $18.99), steals in my opinion!  There are so many great options each day. I also love all their home pieces and the just for fun section.

Also, to sweeten the deal, Groopdealz is providing a $50 gift certificate for J.Crew to one of my readers who signs up for their newsletter to see all the new deals! There are two mandatory entries and the rest are bonus. The giveaway is open to the US and Canada.
