Follow Me
I wore this two weekends ago when it was SUPER hot.  I wanted to wear as little clothing as possible without being naked, so I decided to bring back the 90s with this denim mini skirt! I've had it since middle school I believe...but it used to have a layer of ruffles underneath which I have since removed.  I also wore very limited makeup; a bit of bronzer, blush, mascara and lipstick = done! Easy, peasy! :)

Top: Mexx (Coco's $10 sale), Skirt: Mudd (old), Sandals: Seychelles (DSW), Sunglasses: Ray Ban "Emma" (Marshalls)

July is already halfway over...what is this madness?!  Right about now I am in vacation countdown mode, only one week to go and I'll be spending a blissful week in a beach house right across the street from the beach in Rhode Island!

I wore my new Marc Jacobs dress on Monday and I love it! It is super comfortable and I love the fun detail at the bottom. The only problem is it wrinkles SUPER easy (and I don't own an iron...) I'll just have to drive the long 5 minutes to my parents house when it needs to be ironed. I also wore a pencil skirt to work for the first time ever...what?!  But this skirt that I got for $10 at Coco's needs to be shown off, so I wore it with the sweater my grandmother made for my mom (who then passed it on to me) to dress it down.

Extra shots that I never got to post because I always like too many photos! All of these are by Lydia, obviously, ha ha.
Ever since I got my new Ancient Greek Sandals I've been dreaming up ways to wear them. This week I wore them Grecician style with my new Marc by Marc Jacobs dress (you'll see on Friday!)  I decided to style them the same way for this post, with different pieces obviously.

The necklace I chose is definitely a splurge but it was too spot on to not include! The pendants are Greek warriors, the perfect match for the sandals.  I also gave two dress options, I think the one on the left is more casual and goes with the sandals better. But, if you feel like dressing them up, option number 2 is great.

Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals ($230)
Necklace: DANNIJO ($305)
Arm Cuff: Citrine by the Stones ($188)
Leaf Bracelet: dreamsbythesea ($50 at Etsy)
Left Dress: Norma Kamali ($240 at The Outnet)
Right Dress: Alexander Wang ($277 at The Outnet)

The rain has finally subsided: HUZZAH! Except now I bet I jinxed it, oh well...  Anyway today I thought I would look back at some pieces I've worn in a myriad of ways.  This is the third installment of this feature: Part 1 & Part 2

Ralph Lauren Striped Sweater - I wear this sweater quite often, but it is not something that gets photographed a lot.  Not sure why because it's one of my favorite things.  It's usually a weekend piece and what I throw on when I have no idea what to wear. I bought it at good will for $8 and it's too big so it has a nice slouchy feel.

Purple Printed Skirt - My mom made this skirt for me 2 years ago with fabric we bought at Mood after my photoshoot with The Outnet.  I wear it a lot but it is one of those pieces that I always wear with the same things because they go so perfectly together.

McQ Alexander McQueen Dress - Another oldie, but goodie.  My mom bought me this from Century 21 for my birthday 2 years ago.  It is from the last collection McQueen did so it has a special place in my wardrobe. I've only shown Summery stylings here, but I wear it through the Winter too.

Super quick post today, I hope you all enjoyed your (hopefully long) weekends. It was a scorcher wasn't it? Here's what I wore on the 4th of July! I started with a white tee, but when I got to my parents house I remembered I had a red shirt there, so I switched! Much better, right?  I also wore my new Ancient Greek Sandals! WOO!

A nice short week this week! Yesterday was the 4th of July, obviously and today is another day off! Long weekends are the best, aren't they?! (I feel like I just said that a few weeks ago, ha ha.)  This week was another nice non-stressful week at work. We were able to just work on projects without rushing. That is always much better than when we have 5 things due the same day!

I have been doing a bit too much shopping lately. I blame the sales... I was still under budget but I need to be a good girl.  So I'm going to try to not buy anything until my vacation, which is in 2 weeks! WOO! I'll be spending the week at a beach house in Rhode Island with my immediate family as well as some aunts and uncles.

Monday: Top: Cullen (Rue La La), Skirt: T by Alexander Wang (NET-A-PORTER), Flats: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Earrings: Urban Outfitters, Rings: Urban Outfitters & Mom's
Tuesday: Tee: Everlane, Pants: American Eagle (gift card), Heels: Guess (Marshalls), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Earrings: Urban Outfitters, Rings: Urban Outfitters & Mom's
Wednesday: Tee: Everlane, Skirt: Made by Mom, Sandals: Target, Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Earrings: Urban Outfitters, Rings: Urban Outfitters & Mom's
Happy 4th of July to all my fellow American's! I hope you are spending the day doing something fun with friends and family! To get us in the mood, some patriotic street style looks:

I, like everyone else, love model Cara Delevingne. She is the epitome of cool but can transform herself to be whatever a brand needs. I also have an owl obsession (I blame Harry Potter.) So Mulberry's new Fall 2013 campaign is right up my alley! Cara poses in beautiful clothes and holds Mulberry bags while owls are perched all around. How adorable!

One sale ends, another begins! Last week I got a very exciting email from The Outnet informing me that their Clearance Sale starts tomorrow, July 3rd!  It will go throughout the weekend but you will want to shop the moment it begins because in past sales I have seen the same go from 30 pages to 2 pages in a few hours.  I've scored a number of great items in the past such as my Burberry wedges & Edun dress.

It's the shopping event of the year - THE OUTNET's Clerance begins July 3rd. Featuring your favorite designer labels at up to 85% off, you can't afford to miss it. Must-have shoes, coveted handbags, style-defining separates and more … get ready to shop to it!

Below is a selection of items I'm hoping will be in the sale. Click the images to go to the product page.  I separated it into shoes/accessories and then clothes in a carousel below!
