I can't believe it has been three years since I started this blog! It is really funny looking back at my old posts, most of them are horrible but I refuse to delete them.  It shows how much I have grown in so many aspects.  Blogging has helped me in so many ways. I am slowly becoming more talkative in social situations and I think I have to thank my blogging buddies (you know who you are!) for some of that.  Speaking of blogger friends, it has been so amazing meeting bloggers over these past few years, many of which are now real life friends as opposed to just internet.

In honor of the blogiversary here is a tiny selection of some of my favorite outfits/posts over the past 1,095 days! Sorry there are so many! I narrowed it down a bit for you though.

Looking through all my posts made me want to revive and old series I used to do, Obscure Movies, but no one really commented on them so I stopped.  I posted my favorite, unknown to most people, movies.  What do you think?

Bangin' Bargains: eBay Tips
Last week I received this gorgeous scarf from Noma.  Noma sells eco-friendly, fair trade, hand-made pieces hand-dyed in Los Angeles, NOMA is a women-owned and operated collective that lets women feel beautiful—inside and out.  I love supporting fair trade companies, so I was very excited for this collaboration.
NOMA’s philosophy is simple: every woman is beautiful and deserves to shine. This principle guides NOMA’s designs, which celebrate individuality and personal style. NOMA’s simple, yet striking, creations illuminate the beauty from within. We work with skilled artisans around the world, supporting and promoting fair trade in all of our endeavors; we honor and embrace our global community of vision, talent, creativity and passion.

NOMA embraces a ”giving back” philosophy to support indigenous hand crafts and to promote sales by allowing consumers to feel the joy of knowing their purchase is paying it forward. We have been to many places over the past year, and have seen first-hand what is most desperately needed by artisans working in small communities; that's why we've chosen to work with the 'Gift of Light' project to help artisans live and work better with electric light at their fingertips.
I chose the Copper Python Premium Quality Pashmina because I loved the coloring and subtle snakeskin print.   The quality of the scarf is amazing, it is soft to the touch and you can tell a lot of care went into the making of the piece.

To share the love, Noma have provided a coupon code for you to save 75% off a scarf order! To use it, go to the checkout and fill out the information in step 1, then in step 2 enter the code CLOSET75 to see the change reflected in your total. (So basically, you are getting a $125-$198 scarf for $32-$50, how can you miss that deal?)

Top: Emanuel Ungaro (Coco's $10 Sale), Blazer: PBM Women's (Coco's $10 Sale), Jeans: Free People (Marshalls), Heels: Guess (Marshalls), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Scarf c/o Noma

It's leather jacket season again, woohoo!  So excited to be bringing out my Theyskens' Theory jacket again, it was one of my favorite purchases/steals of last year (only $170 instead of over $1000!) I wore this outfit to go to the mall with my friends. These floral jeans are a lot more versatile than I thought they would be. I think it's because they are just different shades of blue rather than adding other colors into the mix, I can just use them as a neutral.

Song of the Day: High On You by Survivor

Jeans: Target, Tee: Cullen (Rue La La), Leather Jacket: Theyskens' Theory (Nordstrom Rack), Flats: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Bracelets: Ten Thousand Villages, Clutch c/o JavoEdge

This was a short week for me because I took Monday off.  It was nice to have a lazy day that wasn't a weekend. Don't you find that you enjoy those days more than regular Saturdays and Sundays?  Anywayyy, the rest of the week went well.  We went back to freezing temperatures on Monday which was annoying, I was getting used to not needing a coat.  But it's supposed to get better this coming week, let's keep our fingers crossed!

I was all about comfort because of the return to chilliness.  So I fell back to my standby of jeans + sweater.  On Thursday I mixed it up by wearing a knit dress with a sweater and tights.

Tuesday: Sweater: Banana Republic, Jeans: Free People (Gilt Groupe), Boots: White Mountain c/o Marshalls, Watch: Skagen (Rue La La)
Wednesday: Sweater: American Eagle (old), Jeans: Genetic Denim c/o Piperlime & Lucky, Flats: H&M, Watch: Skagen (Rue La La)
Thursday: Dress: McQ by Alexander McQueen (Century 21), Sweater: DKNY Cozy (Marshalls), Boots: vintage (eBay), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La)
Just one photo for inspiration today, this look is from one of my favorite bloggers, Camille. How perfect is this outfit?  She was inspired by Saint Laurent (obviously) and I think she pulls it off better than the models!  If you ever want to see perfect effortless style, her blog is the blog for you: Camille Over The Rainbow!

Here are the outfits I wore for Easter this past Sunday. Yes, I said outfits. I couldn't decide what to wear so I wore one for church and the other to go to my Grandma's. They both centered around my $2 Valentino jacket, figured I should get some more wear out of it while I can.

Jacket: Valentino via The Outnet $2 Birthday sale, Dress: Jason Wu for Target, Heels: Marc by Marc Jacobs (net-a-porter End of Season sale), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La)

And outfit number 2.  This one cost $22 if you don't count the shoes. If you count the shoes it was $102, so still not too shabby for all the designer names.

Jacket: Valentino via The Outnet $2 Birthday sale, Skirt: J.McLaughlin (Coco's), Top: Emanuel Ungaro (Coco's), Heels: Lanvin (Roundabout Resale), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La)
There are always a handful of items that I am desperate to get my hands on for one reason or another. Today I am posting five items I am coveting.  They are my top picks for staple items I want in my closet (plus one piece just for fun). What I've chosen may not be a necessity for you, which is what makes personal style, for lack of a better word, personal.

1. Frame Denim Jeans - These are the perfect skinny jean (at least they look that way in photos.) I'm upset that I didn't jump on the dark blue version when it was on Net-a-Porter. I'll know for next time, though.

2.  Thakoon Sweater - I cannot live without sweaters, they are just as much of a staple as jeans in my wardrobe. I wear them all through Fall, Winter and Spring (even chilly Summer nights). So I need all different colors and weights! This one would be great to transition from Winter to Spring.

3.  ChloĆ© Ankle Boots - I've found that I only have a couple pairs of comfortable "walking shoes" for my 1.5 mile commute (each way) to work. I'm in desperate need of some ankle boots. Though I suppose since we're headed into Spring they can wait until next year. While we're on the subject: any suggestions?!

4. 3.1 Phillip Lim Satchel - Who couldn't use a pretty colored purse? I love the detailing on this one and the fact that it can carry everything I need for work. I would also be happy with the burgundy version.

5. Marc Jacobs Mickey Mouse Top - I'm obsessed with Disney and Marc Jacobs, so it's only natural for me to want this adorable pullover, right? It might be a bit much for some people because of it's cropped silhouette, but then again, who doesn't want a little whimsy in their wardrobe.
