Remember how I said I have a blazer addiction? This is the proof.  Last month I made this fun video featuring my blazers, 17 of them.  Since creating it I bought 2 more: a Marc Jacobs denim jacket and a PBM over-sized camel hair blazer...oops! At least they were both $10. Enjoy! (My favorite part is right before the credits ;) )

And, for your viewing pleasure, here are all the outfits from my blazer challenge. (a couple are missing, but this is pretty much all of them.)  You will see a lot of duplicate items in here as well. I would have liked to have added skirts into the mix but I am too lazy to wear them on the train (gotta be more careful when sitting and getting up, and I hate being ladylike) ;)
This weekend I got really bored and decided to go through all my blog posts. While looking I came upon this photoshoot that I originally posted the first week I started blogging.  The photos are so breathtaking and I think the clothes are just as relevant now as they were 3 years ago.

This weekend I went to another blogger meetup with my buddies Lydia, Christine and Tiffany. We're trying to make it a monthly event and it seems to be going well so far.  We started off with brunch at Lena's in New Haven (I had a delicious Belgian waffle!) After that we headed over to the Yale campus to take out outfit photos, such a perfect location and there are tons of great spots for pictures (even more come Summer.)

Next while walking back to the car we stopped in a couple shops.  I bought a couple of bracelets (these) at Ten Thousand Villages, a fair trade store, meaning everything is handmade by artists.  There were so many great pieces but I resisted most of them because I don't have that much room for decorations in my house. I kind of want to get a couple more of the bangles I bought. Tiffany and I bought all the ones they had in stock, ha ha.

Finally, we headed all the way to Coco's of Madison.  We (Lydia, Christine and I) have been there 3 times in the past month: I think we have a problem.  Luckily I only picked up two pieces this time. A pretty orange and red sleeveless top for Summer and a fun Ralph Lauren scarf that I bought to hang on my wall (and possibly wear.)

Aaaand here is my outfit.  I wasn't in the mood for any clothes (it was really cold) so I threw on my DKNY dress, warm tights and some flat boots.

Happy Friday!! I need to find a new way to start my This Week in Fashion posts, ha ha.  Today's post is quite ramble-y, so feel fee to skip to the outfits ;) I'm excited for a blogger meetup tomorrow (with Christine, Lydia and hopefully Tiffany.) We're having brunch in New Haven and then going to a thrift store.  Let's hope the weathermen were wrong, I don't want rain. Then Sunday I'll probably go to my parents/Grandma's as usual.

I was a bad girl yesterday and FINALLY ordered that We Are Handsome peacock bathing suit I have wanted with for a long time [proof on the blog here and here.]  I was checking what was Just In at The Outnet and there it was...2 left, a small and a medium!  I was stupid and bought the M because I figured it might run big but now I'm regretting that, hopefully it fits (I was going to have them cancel the order and reorder both but the small sold out too quickly.)

I have completed my blazer wearing challenge!!! I didn't wear 3 of them, but 1 isn't really a blazer (my leather jacket,) one is a little boring (plain black, bought it for more professional stuffs) and the other is my Valentino which I didn't want to risk wearing on the train.  I'll do a recap next week!

You know what that means? 85% off hundreds of pieces by your favorite designers!  Here are some of the pieces I would love to add to my closet.  When the sale first started there were 19 pages of items, as I write this post we're down to 7 pages...so stuff sells out FAST! I am a teeny bit obsessed with the Tory Burch Spring 2013 lookbook.  Spring collections are starting to appear in stores more and more and my inbox is full of new lookbooks but this one has stood out the most so far.  I would happily wear any of the looks featured below.  The prints/colors/shapes are all perfection!

I have been wearing a lot of 70's inspired outfits recently. Maybe its because of all the old music I've been listening to lately. I always listen to oldies, I'm just listening more often now (2 hour train rides can do that to a person.)  I wore this outfit to an impromptu shopping trip with Lydia and Christine! We headed to Coco's of Madison to check out what was new in their $10 everything sale! Once again I walked out with three pieces: an Emanuel Ungaro short sleeve sweater, J. Mclaughlin oriental print skirt AND a short sleeve Prada sweater with a ribbon tie detail.

The Prada shirt didn't really fit me when I wore it the correct way so I picked it up with the intention of giving it to my sister because I couldn't pass up a $10 Prada!  When I got home I tried it on backward and it looked pretty cute. I also had my sister try it on and it fit her better, but it was short because she's taller than me. I think we're going to share custody.

P.S. The Outnet's Clearance Sale starts today! WOOO! [Update: It seems they were having technical difficulties so the sale isn't starting today...]
