I don't think it's any secret that I LOVE chocolates. So when Epiphany Chocolates offered to send me a sample of their new Holiday drink inspired flavors I was quite excited.  These new flavors will be part of the "Get Cozy" collection.

I was first introduced to Epiphany by way of my LuckyFABB Gift Bag and loved how decadent they were. They create handmade chocolates inspired by creative flavors, audacious adventures and passionate people. Imagine handmade soft center nudges enrobed in chocolate with unique, surprising flavors and a signature keepsake box.

Details on the Holiday 2012 flavors are below.  My personal favorite was the Sgt Peppermint but my mom loved Her Hot Toddy.  I was nice and shared the chocolates with my family, but I made sure to eat one of each ;)
THE BIG KAHLUA
Kahlua Fudge
Dreaming of an island getaway? Grab your swimsuit and sunnies...surfs up! A taste of cool Kahlua drenched in white chocolate and a little piece of macadamia nut heaven. You will be one tiki chic. Alo-ha!

HER HOT TODDY
Buttered Rum Fudge
Naughty or nice this year? Either way, this is undeniably one hot toddy. Baby, it's cold outside so warm up with buttered rum enrobed in rich milk chocolate. Winter RX: Sip chocolate, it'll soothe body and soul.

SGT PEPPERMINT
Peppermint Mocha Fudge
Beware: Visions of sugarplums may dance in your head with one taste of this cozy combo...pepperminty mocha covered in rich dark chocolate with candy cane crunch on top. You may just leap across the room to salute this sassy sergeant.
To share the holiday cheer, Epiphany Chocolates will be sending one of my readers an 18-Piece box of their "Get Cozy" collection with new holiday flavors!

The giveaway is open to my readers in the United States AND Canada and will close on December 4th. Epiphany have also offered you 25% off an order from now until December 31st with code SPARKLE25!

Mandatory Entry: You must be a follower of my blog with google or bloglovin. Don't forget your email.

Bonus Entries: Leave one comment for EACH additional entry. Each comment counts as an entry so if you put all your extra entries in one comment that only counts as 1 entry...

I quickly want to wish everyone in the US a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are spending the day with loved ones.  I will be at my Grandmother's for lunch and then it's off to my Aunt's for dinner. I'm going to be full for a week ;)

Remember last week when I posted that inspiration photo of a purple and burgundy look?! Well I recreated it for one of my work outfits this week (took the photos over the weekend to be prepared)!  I'm quite happy with how it turned out. How do you think I did?

Sweater: American Eagle old, Pants: Elie Tahari (Shopbop) gift card, Heels: Miu Miu (eBay), Bag: Chanel, Sunglasses: Ray Ban 'Emma' (TJ Maxx) gift card, Watch: Michael Kors, iPhone Case c/o Zazzle

And here is my look with the inspiration.
Thanksgiving is a joyous holiday in the calendar for feasting and marking the arrival of the harvest. It also a good time to give thanks to your friends and family, by showing them that you care perhaps with a gift. Handbags and purses can be the ideal gift at this time of year as with the season’s change, it’s always great to keep up to do date with a new accessory. Whether the handbag is for you or a friend, there are some key styles which are great for the thanksgiving period. Here is my thanksgiving bag wish list.

  1. Benetton Bag – Brown
This is a gorgeous bag with deep purple brown leather. I love the simple shape and classic buckle with the subtle electric yellow detailing; it’s got a lot of autumn style.
  2. Zign Bag – Red
The Zign Bag is a Thanksgiving favourite for the following reasons. It is made in the most sumptuous leather coming in red, black or brown I will leave the choice up to you. Also I can’t get enough of the briefcase style – it will always be in fashion.
  3. Orla Kiely Bag
On my fashion wish list next is the Orla Kiely handbag in black. This is an occasion bag so if you have a party to attend this Thanksgiving, this bag is versatile and super lovely.
  4. DDP Patchwork Purse
You will need a purse which goes well with all the bags on the wish list. I love the DDP Patchwork Purse, brown and red leather compliments the bags perfectly. Zalando’s range of purses has some other great styles that are perfect for this time of year.
I hope you like the Thanksgiving wish list as much as I do! Definitely the right time of year to thank your fashion stars. If you can’t bare to part with any of these bags as a gift, don’t beat yourself up about it, I understand.
I mentioned last week that I had an awesome outfit planned for a new skirt and this is it! When I was looking through my closet to see what would go with this skirt (a bunch of things) this jumped out at me as what I wanted to try first! A bit risky going with two snakeskin pieces but I think the fact that they are different colors makes it work. What say you?! (I said that like Aragorn in Lord of the Rings for those of you who can hear it in your heads...no one? Oh well, I'm just crazy)

For some reason the Beatles song in my title ALWAYS gets stuck in my head. I find myself singing it in my head while I walk to the train.  That happens with a few songs, but this one is my mind's favorite...very odd. I was humming it while taking these photos so it's only fitting that it be the post's title.

I took these photos on Friday but I am wearing it today to work! Woohoo :)

Sweater: T Babaton c/o Aritzia and Lucky, Skirt: Vince Camuto (Lord & Taylor) $35,  Heels: No.704b (DSW) $20, Belt: Kenneth Cole Reaction (Marshalls) $7, Sunglasses: Michael Kors (TJ Maxx) $20, Watch: Michael Kors, Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop)

Things are slowly getting back to normal in Meganville.  I went into work every day this week and my house is almost ready to be lived in again so my roommate and I will be reunited soon! I've been going through withdrawls.  But things are getting back to normal just in time for things to go crazy again. We are entering the holiday season so there will be tons of family gatherings and other traditions to contend with.  And yesterday I got some news that might change a LOT in my life...nothing bad, but nothing I can share yet.

In other news, what is happening to me?! I wore flats every day this week!  It was just because I was too lazy to carry an extra bag with my heels in it. :) I was apparently having a gray/purple moment as well.

What are your plans for the weekend? I will be doing absolutely nothing, I'm pooped.

Monday:  Top: H&M $10, Sweater: Ralph Lauren (Lord & Taylor) $25, Jeans: Jolt (Marshalls) $20, Flats: vanEli (DSW) gift, Necklace: Francesca's $22, Watch: Michael Kors
Tuesday: Sweater: American Eagle old, Blazer: thifted $6, Jeans:  Genetic Denim c/o Piperlime and Lucky, Flats: vanEli (DSW) gift,, Watch: Michael Kors
Wednesday: Tee: Banana Republic $9, Blazer: Necessary Objects $20, Pants: Maison Scotch c/o Aritzia and Lucky, Necklace: LC Lauren Conrad gift, Flats:  Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop) $95 with gift card, Watch: Michael Kors

Thursday: Top: Splendid (net-a-porter) $30, Skirt: T by Alexander Wang (net-a-porter), Cardigan: Tahari (TJ Maxx) $20, Flats: Chaps (Kohl's) $8, Watch: Michael Kors

And here are my two outfits from last week:
Tuesday:  Top: Made by Me, Jeans: Free People (Gilt Groupe), Leather Jacket: Theyshens' Theory (Nordstrom Rack), Flats: vanEli (DSW), Watch: Michael Kors

Wednesday: Blazer: The Extreme Collection (Second Time Around Vintage) $50, Top: Equipment (Marshalls), Jeans: Rag & Bone (Shopbop), Rain Boots: däv, Watch: Michael Kors

It is safe to say that I am obsessed with this outfit. It contains 4 of my favorite things: purple, burgundy, velvet and sweaters!!!! SCORE!  I can almost recreate this look too, except my burgundy velvet pants (by Elie Tahari, still available in some sizes here) are straight legged.

Maybe this will be another one of my outfits for next week, then I would only need one more!

Today I thought I would share some of the newest items in my closet.  First up is a Vince Camuto skirt I bought at Lord & Taylor.  It retails for $119, was on clearance for $72 and then was an extra 40% off. THEN I had a 20% off coupon meaning I paid $35!  Pretty good deal if I do say so myself. I have an awesome outfit planned for next week!

Next we have what I'm sure will be a life saver this Winter: texting gloves!  These were another Lord & Taylor purchase so I got 20% off the regular price. They are by Echo and cost $32, normally more than I would pay for gloves but I'll really need them this year since I'll be walking in New York City every day.
Buy Them?
These are an older purchase, from when I went out with other bloggers, but I thought they deserved to be included. (I also bought a pair of Michael Kors sunglasses but they aren't available in stores anymore) Without further ado, Ray Ban Emma's from TJ Maxx!
Buy Them?
Finally we have a fun item that I won in Sincerely Renay's giveaway a couple weeks ago. M·A·C lipstick from their Marilyn Monroe Collection called "Charmed I'm Sure." It's my first red lipstick and I don't think it looks that bad, not sure I'll be brave enough to wear it really often, but it will certainly come out for special occasions!
