It's official, I am getting OLD!!! Well, not really, but as each birthday passes I feel less excitement as it approaches. Gone are the days of family birthday parties and tons of presents. Now it's just, "congratulations, you are a year closer to being a full fledged adult." I definitely do not act like one though, I still love Disney, being a weirdo and all things childish. I will always be a child in spirit even if my age doesn't reflect it.  Enjoy some photos of little me:
I celebrated my birthday with my family on Monday, and here are some goodies I got:
Sex & the City DVD set, Little Rascals DVD set, Owl mug, Lauren Conrad Owl necklace and a container full of 5 pounds of Skittles!
Mulberry's Spring show was another collection filled with amazing prints!  I tried to narrow myself down to showing only two shows from each fashion week, but I couldn't resist showing this!  This collection screamed my name with the beautiful prints and dark hues, I'm a sucker for rich colors. And there were some brights for those of you that love pastels.

Here is what I'm wearing to my internship today (I took the photos yesterday)! I have a pretty important meeting, not sure how it will turn out, but if things keep going as they are I may fill you in ;)  Fall is definitely here, I find myself wrapping up in a blanket in my house because I don't want to turn on the heat yet.  But at least it means I get to wear all my sweaters and Fall clothes!  I finally had the chance to wear my new Maison Scotch pants, for their first wear I decided to go with a simple look.  Next time I'll try to be more adventurous.

Today is also my mom's birthday! YAY! Happy Birthday, Mom! ❤❤❤

Song of the Day: Blackbird by The Beatles

I was recently introduced to a new store, Phase Eight, which sells womenswear, handbags, shoes and accessories! The brand has a focus on quality – whether you are searching for a timeless party dress or simply want to update your seasonal wardrobe staples.  Currently they ship to UK, Republic of Ireland and mainland Europe.

I fell in love with their Autumn/Winter lookbook. It is full of gorgeous dresses, coats and more! Many of the dresses would be perfect for attending a wedding, whether it be as a guest or for your own.  Be sure to check out their selection of wedding gowns and dresses if you plan to get married!

And also make sure to check out their handy dandy "Get the Look" section where they have styled outfits for the season! Enough of this jibber-jabbering, check out some of my favorite shots below!

P.S. Wouldn't this dress be gorgeous for a wedding!? Too bad I will never get married.

This past weekend I had a somewhat spontaneous meetup with Lydia and Christine! We headed up to Branford to go thrifting. Unfortunately I walked away empty handed by Christine got some great shoes and Lydia got leopard pants (I tried them on too, but they looked better on her.)  After shopping we took some outfit pictures and then went out to eat at Donovan's Reef.

I wore two new pieces, a cashmere sweater I got at Aritzia during LuckyFABB and a necklace that was in my LuckyFABB gift bag!  This sweater adds some nice color to my wardrobe as most of my clothes are boring colors (and too much purple.)  It is SO soft too, and I'm obsessed with the snakeskin print, definitely one of my new favorites!

Song of the Day: October Road by James Taylor

Sweater: T. Babaton (Aritzia) gift card c/o Lucky, Jeans: Free People (Marshalls) $30, Wedges: Crown Vintage (DSW) $45, Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop), Watch c/o OASAP

Here's an amusing shot for your viewing pleasure, I kinda like it even though I look crazy.

And some group shots! We tried to jump, but it's a lot harder with 3 people.

Finally, here's an outfit inspired by another huge favorite of mine, Teen Witch! If you haven't seen this movie, shame on you, it's amazing (watch it.) Full of 80s fashion, songs and funny scenes; you won't be disappointed! The movie stars Robyn Lively, Blake Lively's older sister, as the main character Louise (she is SO gorgeous, I wish I looked like her.) Because all the looks are very 80s I toned the look down a bit so you will be able to wear it without looking like you time-warped. This is definitely one of my favorite looks in the film.

The hardest thing about this outfit was finding a skirt, I was so sure that Free People would have what I was looking for, but they let me down, ha ha! I'm sure there is a more perfect choice out there (with the tiers) but I settled for the one below. It was also hard to find the pendant and, because it is Louise's source of power, I wanted to find one that does the movie version justice. So, etsy to the rescue!

Skirt: Delia's; Top: Delia's; Vest: Free People; Belt: Temperley London;  Heels: Target; Socks: Soft-Fit; Bracelets: Marc by Marc Jacobs Cuff and Target Beaded Bracelet (get two & layer!); Rings: Kohl's, Kohl's and Kohl's; Necklace: Etsy

And here are some more looks from the film. I always wanted a dress like the blue one, I think I may have had one at one point, without the peplum though. I should look for a picture of me in it...

More can be seen in this video, pardon me while I sing along.

Today I'm featuring a look worn by Allison (Vinessa Shaw) in Hocus Pocus, another favorite of mine.  I was choosing between two looks, but the other one was a bit too similar to yesterday's. I could seriously watch this movie (and Casper) every single day and not get tired of them. Anyway… What you'll need is a purple top, tartan skirt, tights, laced booties, wide belt, long necklace and a red cape! *phew*

Top: Target, Skirt: Vivienne Westwood Anglomania, Cape: Alloy, Satchel - Cambridge Satchel Company, Tights: ASOS, Socks: Target, Booties: Chloe, Belt: Ralph Lauren, Necklace: House of Harlow 1960

Here is the other look I wanted to recreate, just wear jeans, a white longsleeve shirt and an oversized tan sweater!
