While I know we all have having to wear sleeves in Summer, sometimes it does get a little chilly at night at the beginning or end of the Summer months.  I've gotten together with a group of bloggers and we're all styling denim jackets for Summer! I went with the obvious - a cute, breezy dress and flat sandals. Perfect for any occasion from a barbecue, walk on the beach or keeping warm in the freezer section of the grocery store!

Here's a full redo of an outfit from 2010. I was almost going to wear different shoes but decided to just go for the original and add in some new accessories. This dress actually should have left my closet years ago since I never wear it. I hate the fabric it's made out of. BUT...I keep it around for my Willy Wonka Halloween costume in case I ever need to wear it again.

Here's a super old throwback for you! 7 years ago! I do still have the shoes I wore in this outfit but they aren't stylish AT ALL so I switched it up! I can't believe I've had this dress for over 7 years. It's going to be a sad day when it's too beat up to be worn. Maybe I should try and find it on eBay!

I think I'm in a hair rut. When my cousin saw me about to leave the house like this he said 'whoa, what are you all dressed up for!' Apparently wearing my hair like this makes me look fancy. So I guess I need to play with my hair more often instead of just leaving it down all the time or in a plain pony tail. I used to LOVE doing my hair but I've just become so lazy as I've gotten older.

When you're reading this post I'll be on my way to Vermont to go on my annual camping trip with my two best friends! I'll be posting on Instagram a little bit, so be sure to follow the adventures over there! We try to keep off our phones most of the time, but we do take quick "hurry, I have to instagram that!' breaks.

Some days you just have to wear double denim! We were still having cooler days when I wore this outfit so the denim jacket was the perfect finishing touch. This jacket has been in my closet for years but I never find the perfect time to wear it, this was one of those times.
