It's been a while since we've had a throwback outfit. I blame my trip to Florida and the holidays. But here we are with an outfit from over 5 years ago. This blazer was one of my first designer "splurges" on eBay. I think I paid less than $30 for it back in 2010. I added in my Gucci aviators and dark purple Chloé Faye to update the look a bit. But everything else is the same. Tee: Zara, Blazer:

This shirt may be one of my best thrifting buys from a couple years ago. I paid ONE DOLLAR for it and have worn it at least 10 times, which means it's cost per wear is 10 cents per wear at the most. Insanity! And this Moschino jacket was one of my first few designer eBay finds in 2008 or 2009! Ahh, memories. Shirt: thrifted, Blazer: Moschino Cheap & Chic (eBay), Jeans: Free People (Gil

{throwback outfit} Revisiting October 25 2011
This outfit was a copycat of one of Natalie Suarez's outfits from back in the day, hence my weird face...trying to match her cool 'I don't care look' and failing. And look how long my hair was...a little TOO long if you ask me, and that's saying something because I'm not a fan of shorter hair on myself. Sadly I don't have the jeans anymore but every other piece in this outfit was still in m

{video} An Ode to Blazers
Remember how I said I have a blazer addiction? This is the proof. Last month I made this fun video featuring my blazers, 17 of them. Since creating it I bought 2 more: a Marc Jacobs denim jacket and a PBM over-sized camel hair blazer...oops! At least they were both $10. Enjoy! (My favorite part is right before the credits ;) ) And, for your viewing pleasure, here are all the outfit

{outfits} Shake it Up
View Shake It Up Part II Since I've been home sick all week there won't be a This Week in Fashion post today. Instead I thought I would show how I've styled pieces in my wardrobe in different ways. My philosophy is - what is the point of buying clothes if you won't wear them over and over? There's no sense in buying something to wear only once, except maybe a Wedding dress ;) There

{outfit} Everybody Has the Blues
Say "hello" to my adorable new Marc by Marc Jacobs tee, it was a gift from Santa! For it's debut I decided to try something a little crazy and paired it with this lace skirt, sparkly blazer and bright blue heels! If only I didn't have to wear tights, I hate that they contrast so much with the shoes. Even though this outfit is full of designer pieces, it isn't expensive because t

{outfits} This Week in Fashion
Today is the last day of November...where has the year gone?! It's strange how as you get older the time goes by so quickly. This week seems to be the week of burgundy, except for Thursday, ha ha. Actually, I take that back...my shoes were burgundy on Thursday too! It is starting to get really cold out outside and signs of Christmas are beginning to appear all around! I love it!

{outfits} This Week in Fashion
This was my first full week* at work and boy am I pooped! Getting up at 5:40am and getting home at 8pm is not fun, but on the plus side I love my job! We are so busy so I can barely breathe during the day, but it's fun so it doesn't matter. I really need to get some more walking shoes, I always find myself wearing my vanEli flats (see Wednesday's outfit) because they don't hurt at all dur
