For my second Thanksgiving outfit I went with a skirt and an outfit I have been planning since August. It was a little warmer on this day so I was able to wear my outfit exactly as planned!
V-Neck Sweater: Everlane 'The Cashmere V-Neck', Oriental Print Skirt: J.McLaughlin (Coco's $10 sale), Silk Reflections Sunkissed Ultra Sheer Tight c/o Hanes Hosiery, Boots: 3.1 Phillip Lim 'Peggy' in patent leather and pony-hair (Barney's Warehouse)

I really like this skirt because of the fun print but I hardly ever wear it since it's a pencil skirt AND white. I'm not a huge pencil skirt gal, as I'm sure you've noticed, but it was $10 years ago and it spoke to me. This outfit is perfect for it because the knitted sweater dresses it down. I think I may wear it with my black v-neck Everlane sweater this Fall!
Sweater: Made by Grandma, Skirt: J.McLaughlin (Coco's $10 sale), Sandals: Manolo Blahnik (Roundabout Resale), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Ozzie Square Baby Aiden' (Shopbop), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Sunglasses: Gucci

Apparently I was in a black and white mod this week, with a little purple/burgundy thrown in. I made it through a week (well, three days) without wearing jeans! But this weekend I predict will be jean junction. Yes, I know that makes no sense, but I like an alliteration.
I hope everyone has exciting weekend plans. I'm making my monthly visit to my aunt and uncle's house for a massage (for me) and website updates (for my aunt.) Then I will hopefully go to a friend's house to watch the Oscars, but there is an impending snowstorm that might foil those plans.

This past Saturday I met up with Lydia to check out Roundabout's sale (50% off! & a sidewalk sale where items were $10-$25.) Since I liked my Thursday outfit so much, I decided to wear it again so Lydia could photograph it. At Roundabout I tried on a bunch of pieces & walked out with 2 things (photo) I won't wear that often but had to purchase. It's like an episode of Resale Royalty I saw a couple weeks ago, sometimes I buy pieces to fulfill a fantasy life I wish I had. But that's okay as long as it doesn't get out of hand.
I bought a pair of velvet Balenciaga pants that retailed for almost $1000. I paid $35 because they were 75% off plus an extra 50% off! I also picked up a gorgeous Tracy Reese dress with a fun scale-like print for $59 (regularly $475 if eBay is to be believed.) At this point I have nowhere to wear it, but hopefully I'll be invited to a wedding or something soon!
After shopping we had a quick bite to eat and stopped at The Historical Christmas Barn to check out their sale. My sister used to work there and they always have really cute stuff. Before we went our separate ways, we took our outfit photos on a cute stone path behind the store. Prepare for a deluge of photos! (I said deluge like Dori in The Hobbit, he says it funny)

Here are the outfits I wore for Easter this past Sunday. Yes, I said outfits. I couldn't decide what to wear so I wore one for church and the other to go to my Grandma's. They both centered around my $2 Valentino jacket, figured I should get some more wear out of it while I can.
Jacket: Valentino via The Outnet $2 Birthday sale, Dress: Jason Wu for Target, Heels: Marc by Marc Jacobs (net-a-porter End of Season sale), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La)
And outfit number 2. This one cost $22 if you don't count the shoes. If you count the shoes it was $102, so still not too shabby for all the designer names.
Jacket: Valentino via The Outnet $2 Birthday sale, Skirt: J.McLaughlin (Coco's), Top: Emanuel Ungaro (Coco's), Heels: Lanvin (Roundabout Resale), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La)
