Throwing it back to Easter because I finally reminded Chrisitan to edit the photos we took. To be fair, we forgot to download them to a computer before we left for Missouri the week after Easter so we didn't have access to them for a full month. Whoops! But, better late than never!

Decided to wear an oldie but goodie this year, my Paris map print Carven dress from 2014. Also broke out one of my favorite pairs of shoes, the Lanvin suede city sandals I got in the Net-a-Porter sale in 2017. Coincidentally, the Net-a-Porter End of Season sale just started so you can get up to 80% off select pieces! Our trip to Venice was a bit of a blur. We arrived around 2pm to our airbnb and set out to explore. We tried to watch the sunset from a location our host said was nice but it was a long walk and we realized mid-way that the sun was the opposite side of the city from where she told us to go, haha. Whoops! (Maybe it was still a pretty view?) I ended up not taking photos that day so these are from our first full day in Venice. We started our day by walking through St Marks Square and hopping on a boat to head to San Giorgio Maggiore island so we could go up that bell tower instead of the overcrowded one at St Marks. Unfortunately the elevator was broken and that's the only way to get up the tower so we couldn't do it. We did manage to get these lovely windblown photos on the island before heading back to the mainland for more exploration!

Side note: We went into Prada so I could look for the bag I like (Prada - Cahier Astrology) and found it in PURPLE there - I didn't know they made purple so I was very excited. That's now on my wish list after my Gucci Marmont, but they don't make it anymore so it will be very hard to find once I save up.  Anyway, the girl at the store loved my dress, it's always fun getting complimented on your outfit - especially at Prada. This is one of my favorite dresses so I'm always happy when other people notice it.

I wore this to do some window shopping with my mom over the weekend. I'm trying not to shop too much the next couple months but did end up picking up some cards for a few upcoming weddings. I resisted buying anything else though. Woo!

My camera was not happy the day my Dad and I took these photos, I think I messed with one of the settings and after we took the photos I was too lazy to fix and redo them, haha. But at least you can see the outfit.

I wore this last Thursday to head up to LuLu Chinese in Greenwich with my fiancé. I was invited to a preview event ahead of their official opening the following day. The event was slightly disappointing because we could barely move around due to the amount of people. But the food made up for it, we loved everything we tried! More on the food below the outfit photos!

I decided to wear my beloved Carven Paris map print dress because it's been neglected this Summer! It even got a compliment from one of the women at the event. Don't you love when that happens?  Before the event started we decided to walk around the block to take outfit photos with no people around.

On to the food! The event was basically everyone standing around long tables (which will have stools during normal business hours) and sitting at the bar with food being brought out in sample sizes.  Our favorites were the chicken spring rolls, salt & pepper shrimp and pork dumplings! The veggie fried rice was also really good. I liked the flavor of the chilled peanut noodles but it's a little odd (for me) to eat cold noodles so I wasn't a huge fan overall.  They also had crab rangoons, pork belly bao buns and a few cocktails floating around the room.

eight sixty floral camisole (dress version)

When I first bought this top I didn't think I would wear it often because of the deep v on both sides. I'm not the biggest fan of showing off my chest but I thought it was pretty.  Now it'so ne of my favorite things to wear in the warmer months. And I can even wear it in Fall with jackets.

I bought this dress on a whim and it is one of my most worn pieces this Summer even though it's only been on the blog once. I throw it on whenever I have to run out and don't want to think about what I'm wearing.

Another piece I didn't think I would wear more than once but wanted to buy something crazy on my trip to Greece. I've worn it six times (on the blog, probably more than that) and it's always been different! Just goes to show you, sometimes vacation impulse buys are worth it.

Carven Jungle Print Skirt

Who doesn't love a crazy jungle printed skirt? I'm surprised I've worn this in so many different ways. Whenever I want to wear it I'm always stumped. But apparently I can wear it with anything I want!  Good thing I have a lot of purples and blues in my closet.

One of my awesome Outnet Clearance sale steals. It's the softest shirt I own and in my favorite color! I don't know why I haven't worn it more often than this.

Sweater Tank made by Grandma

My Grandmother made this a LONG time ago for my mom and she used to wear it all the time. She passed it down to me in 2012 and I've given her a run for her money on times worn. It's a great way to keep my Grandma with me even though she passed away when I was 13.
