I took these photos at the beginning of September but then some life stuff happened and I didn't feel right/up to posting. So here they are now. I wore this to run some errands with Christian and then we went on a drive with my parents and brother before having a late lunch at Riley's in Lordship.
This was a day that was cool enough for me to wear this airy cashmere sweater paired with shorts. I often find it hard to wear this sweater because it is VERY open thanks to the deep Vs, so I can't really wear it in winter unless it's layered.

I wore this outfit to the Roger Williams Zoo last month but it was too people-y to take pictures without feeling dumb so I re-wore it the next weekend to take some! I figured I would go with the animal theme since we were going to the zoo so I picked my fun safari print tee by Madewell and paired it with custom Nike's made from leopard print pony-hair. I know, it was weird to make sneakers in a material I couldn't actually use for hiking or working out - but I don't generally do those activities so why not go wild! I've had these for seven years now, wowza!

This outfit is called - I wanted to wear things I haven't worn in a while. All these pieces haven't been getting much love lately. This is partly because I haven't been going anywhere and because I wore some of them a LOT when I first got them so I end up passing by them. When it comes to the Ancient Greek Sandals that's because I have 10 pairs....whoops! The only piece I'm still unsure of is the shorts. They just seem a little too big, especially in photos. But they're comfy and keep me cool on hot days so I keep them around.

It may be Spring, but that doesn't mean temperatures have warmed up! Wore this for Easter and chose these floral pants to add some color/Easter feeling since I was not about to wear a dress. For some reason I always seem to wear the same pieces with these pants. I've worn this sweater, belt and bag with them in previous outfits. I guess if it's not broke, don't fix it.
In non-outfit news, we're getting our first dose of the vaccine tomorrow!! I'm terrified, yet excited. I'm not a big fan of doctors, shots or needles so this is going to be very stressful for me. BUT I would rather get a shot and potential side effects than suffer through full blown coronavirus. For those of you in CT or NY struggling to find an appointment, this Facebook group may be able to help with tips! And if you are in dire need of assistance they have people that will help book for you. There are similar groups for other states. Will you be getting the vaccine when it's available to you? (no judgement if not - as long as you're still following safety rules the decision to get the vaccine is up to you!)

The wedding was lovely and the bride's dress was GORGEOUS! I wish I could show you all a photo. My cousin married a very stylish woman, which I appreciate. The location was the Eisenhower House at Fort Adams State Park.
I chose one of my favorite dresses that sadly doesn't get out that much because it's pretty dressy. I bought this Burberry London dress in Net-a-Porter's End of Season sale in 2012 and it has been worn to two (I think) weddings before this. One in July and the other in June. This was it's first Fall outing. I paired it with low block heels since we would be in the grass and topped it with a simple black cardigan. If we weren't going to be in the grass I may have opted for a higher, thinner heel. But I like how it looks with these Lanvin sandals.

We also found a pretty blue door during the day and took some photos. I wasn't planning on doing an outfit post with this look since I have worn it so many times but I like the pictures. Enjoy!
