I've had this tank for 4 years but I don't wear it much because I've found it hard to style. The slits make it fit weird with certain items so I can't really wear it with shorts. I attempted to in this look but I'm not sure what I think. I need to stick with wearing skinny jeans to offset the looseness.
I also realize I've been wearing this purse way too often, but I go through phases. I'm going to try to swap it for another purse for a bit but I'm sure you'll see it again in Fall because small purses are "in," not that I really pay too much attention to trends.
Top: Madewell Singlet Side-Slit Tank, Shorts: Banana Republic (Clinton Crossing), Sandals: Lanvin studded leather 'City' sandal (The RealReal), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Perfect Purse ostrich-effect PVC' (Net-a-Porter), Necklace: bought in Santorini, Sunglasses: Chanel
I could definitely see that tank working perfectly with skinny jeans (I also think it works with the shorts though) - it's a neat piece.

That is a fun tank and you're right it would look so good with skinny jeans! I really like it with the shorts here too though! I have a pair of olive shorts that are a bit looser than this and they are so comfortable, sometimes I wear them with slouchy pieces on top too. Doesn't always work, but when it does it's such a comfortable outfit! :)
ReplyDeleteHope that your week is going well :)
Away From Blue
I find my purses as a whole have been getting smaller over the years. Once I made the switch to the tiny wallet, I realized it could work. Of course now that I'm always forgetting my reusable bags in grocery stores, I might need to bring the totes back out!
ReplyDeleteLooks like those sandals are proving to have been a good purchase!
Chic on the Cheap
I really like it paired with shorts and I love the slit detail, it makes it quite unique :) xx
