I think I'm in a blog funk. Christian hasn't been able to take as many of my photos lately and when I have my Dad take them I don't like to take up too much of his time so we just take 5 quick shots and I'm done. So even though my Dad is a great photographer (it's one of his favorite hobbies) a lot of the time the photos just aren't up to snuff because I rush.
In this case it was my shorts fault, the linen wrinkles SO easy and I had already been wearing this outfit for half the day. I also stupidly covered the graphic on my shirt with my still wet hair. Plus my cousin was visiting from Ohio so I REALLY rushed these photos. At least there's a cute puppy (my brother's) to distract from all of that.

I would never have known or suspected that these photos rushed if you hadn't said anything ... and I don't think it's just the adorable puppy that's distracting my eye.

The puppy is so cute and don't worry about the photos - things get created in real life and it's only on blogs / Instagram we ever try to pretend clothes don't get a wrinkle when we wear them, haha! I'm glad you posted this as it shows how cute your outfit still looks even after half a day of wear! :)
ReplyDeleteHope that your week is going well! We have a day off today for the Ekka holiday, yay!

I think the wrinkled look is part of the effect, such a cute outfit! But I totally understand rushed photo shoots. Sometimes I honestly prefer doing it myself with a tripod so I can do as many takes as I want!

When it comes to linen, I think we just have to accept wrinkles as part of the aesthetic, since you can't wear it without getting wrinkled! And a cute puppy always helps photos!
