I did a pretty good job this year not buying many new pieces. I spent just under $90 all year - not counting gift cards, advertising money spent ($451) and my Wedding look ($1094 - $206 was ad money and about $600 was for my wedding band). I'd say that's a successful year! Hopefully I can keep it up in 2019 but I miss new clothes so much, ha ha!

I'm very proud of not buying anything for myself this month - usually, in the course of Christmas shopping, I find one or two things I like and decide to get myself a pre-Christmas treat as a reward for getting all my shopping done (I know, I know, it all sounds terribly selfish!) but I restrained myself this year.

ReplyDeleteSo proud ! (insert clapping sound here)
I am still doing my November recap, so you can imagine.
HNY!
You did so well! I thought I wouldn't buy anything this month but I couldn't resist picking up a couple of things in the sales for myself too, haha! I haven't bought anything in the post Christmas sales but I might not be as strong when the final deductions come around ;)
ReplyDeleteHope that you had a wonderful Christmas :) It was a busy but fun one here as I hosted it this year for my family. We are still eating lots of delicious leftovers, haha! I'm starting to get back to blogging after my little break for a few days.

I can't believe you've spent so little this year! I'm not sure I'd have the will power for it! Your new sweater is a beautiful color!

I wish I could say I'd been half as good as you this year - but maybe 2019 will be better!
