{throwback thursday} What to Wear for Thanskgiving

We're a week away from Thanksgiving so I thought for today's throwback outfit I'd do a roundup of things you can wear for a Thanksgiving celebration! I already have one of my Thanksgiving looks planned, still need one more because we do Thanksgiving at my Grandma's for my Mom's side of the family and then at my Aunts on the weekend for my Dad's side.

For me it's all about darker hues, burgundy, black, navy, rust. Anything that feels like Fall! What's nice is you can dress up pants with a blouse, or wear some cashmere to tone them down a bit and make it more cozy. Or you can wear a wrap dress with a vest and heeled boots. Anything goes!

  1. I love all these rich tones - they definitely have a fall feeling to them and you're so right that that's perfect for Thanksgiving.

  2. These are such lovely outfits! I like all the autumnal colours, even though it's spring here! :) I think the lace skirt is beautiful in the last outfit too!

Hope that you are having a nice week and a lovely weekend ahead of you :)

  4. That is so fun to look back on all the Thanksgiving looks! I loved those leather pants, but I usually try to avoid pants on thanksgiving, haha.
