Here's the first of my two Thanksgiving outfits. My mom hosted for her side of the family for the first time this year. Normally my Grandma does it but she decided to take a year off and let me Mom handle the stress. I wore pants for this celebration because I knew my cousin's 2 year old would be coming and we like to play on the floor. I wanted to wear different shoes but it was really cold so I went with function over fashion. Not that these boots aren't fashionable.
Sweater: Context Three-Quarter Bell Sleeve Top (Lord & Taylor), Pants: Proenza Schouler Black & White Graphic Print Pants(Yoox), Boots: Gianvito Rossi 'Finlay' (Marshalls), Tights c/o Wolford, Necklace c/o Blue Nile

When it comes to holidays where I know the oven is going to be on full blast all day, I'll wear my sleeveless dress and heels anyway - it may have been freezing outside, but I was sweltering in the kitchen! Hope your mom had fun hosting, i'm sure she did an amazing job!

I love those printed pants and that red top is such a fun pairing with them! Pants are a good choice when playing with kids - it's why I like my jeans so much! :)
ReplyDeleteHope that you are having a great start to your week! It's been hot and dusty here, summer has arrived! :)
