{outfit} Comfy Casual

I wore this last weekend to go out to lunch with my two best friends. I haven't worn sneakers in a while so decided to throw them on with this basic look. I still feel odd when I wear sneakers, not sure why, but at least these make a statement with their leopard print in calf hair. Not a practical sneaker, but they sure are fun!

And, as you can see, we got a nice snowstorm last week and another supposedly coming today. Lots of downed branches all over town from the weight of the snow and the wind. Crazy!

Sweater: Calvin Klein, Tee: Everlane, Jeans: J Brand 'Mid Rise Photo Ready Super Skinny Jean' (Gilt), Sneakers: Nike iD c/o, Bag: Dark Purple Chloé Faye (eBay), Sunglasses: Chanel, Glasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon), Necklace: House of Harlow 1960 'Five Station Blackened Arrowhead'

  1. I used to wear sneakers quite a bit (Converse) but haven't in a while. A long while. I was actually looking at the two pairs I have the other day and wondering if it was time to get rid of them. But it felt short sighted so I let them stay.

  2. Sucha great casual outfit - I love the little touches like the necklace and bag that make it luxe :) That's such good accessorising.

Hope you are having a good week so far and the snow storms aren't too bad! They sound crazy!

  3. I love how the rings on your belt perfectly mirror the ring on your bag, and I tend to feel the same way about sneakers, but they are cute, so why not wear them and take advantage of having comfy feet!

  4. I am on the edge when it comes to sneakers, I have never loved them and will always see them as shoes to do sports in. Or shoes tourists wear.
But, I have to say I can live with yours ;)
