Welcome my Proenza Schouler tweed colorblock shorts to the blog!!! If you saw my monthly wardrobe update you will have heard this story already, but for those that haven't: I posted these shorts on the blog back in June 2011 as one of my favorite looks from the 2012 Resort show! A couple of weekends ago I went to Roundabout's end of season sale with Lydia and on a second look through the store I spotted these shorts peeking out and recognized them immediately.
I didn't think they were going to fit but tried them on and they fit like a glove! At "only" $57 I had to take them home. That may seem like a lot for shorts, BUT they are tweed, trimmed in leather and made in the USA. Plus, they retailed for $1600, insanity!

they really are so cute, and I just love it when you find something you've been lusting after for a long time. Maybe next sale you'll find the coordinating crop top, haha.

Those shorts were such a great find.... they were meant to be. Regardless of time when things are meant to be they find a way... even when it comes to shorts :)
