This romper was one of my April buys. It's a tiny bit too big, but that's what you get for shopping sample sale sites...I couldn't exchange for a smaller size - because it sold out - so it was either return it or keep it. Since it was only $27 I opted to keep it. I love the little bit of skin it shows in the back, it also adds a nice breeze when it's super hot out.
I've been meaning to get these sandals fixed but I have no idea if a cobbler would be able to do what I need. Or where there is a cobbler near me. My friend borrowed them when we were on vacation and it rained so the leather stretched out a LOT. I need to get the back straps shortened so I can buckle them again. When I wore them this day I kind of faked it since I knew I wouldn't be walking a lot. #shoehacks.

It's a really cute romper - and will definitely be good when the heat really climbs.

I like the romper and dont think it looks bad..
ReplyDeleteRegarding the sandals, maybe you can make an extra hole ? There is a tool in the Swiss knife that is meant for that..
No room for an extra hole, sadly. That was my first idea, haha
DeleteLove the mix of prints in the playsuit and I think the relaxed fit works really well! :) Bargain price too.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was to make an extra hole too - sorry that's not an option for your sandals! Is there a key cutting place near you? They usually do shoe repairs too! :)

Such a cute romper! What a bummer the sandals stretched out - your ancient greeks! I'm sure there are plenty of shoe repair places you can take them too. I always go to my guy in branford, but Sean likes Paradise Shoe Repair in Milford.
