Last week I took a half vacation to North Carolina with my family. I went with my parents, aunt, uncle and cousin to visit family who moved down there a few years ago. I say half vacation because I was working during the trip. I've been taking so many vacations the past couple years that sometimes I have to be responsible and work while I'm away. But it's always nice to have a change of scenery and get to take a few hours during the day for fun activities! That's what I love about being self-employed, no office means I can work from anywhere!
We stayed on Carolina Beach in Wilmington and this pier was steps outside where we were staying. We had a beautiful view of the ocean right outside our room so while it was cold and windy we could still enjoy the beach from the comfort of our rooms!

It looks so pretty there -- if working vacations are unavoidable then at least it's nice to be somewhere nice!

Love your floral top with the chambray bomber jacket! :) The print peeking out reminded me of a similar printed top I have, should really get it out and wear it again :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're getting a lot of vacation time on your vacation and you don't have to work too much.

Bummer you had to be working during your vacation, but on the plus side it's far better to be able to go and still get paid than be suck in an office all the time.
