This outfit is over 4 years old...insanity! Unfortunately I don't have the same shoes anymore, and I wasn't going to wear the blue tights, but I figured I may as well get as close to the original outfit as I could! So the only change I made was the heels. This wasn't the best of my outfits but for some reason I still like it - minus the blue tights.

Nice ! and the piece that stands out the most and that just adore is the scarf. What a beautiful print .
ReplyDeleteI really, really love that you're wearing blue tights. I can never pull coloured tights off - so jealous.

I remember when colored tights were all the rage! I couldn't pull them off either, but you sure could ; )
ReplyDeleteAnother great re-creation. I love clothes with longevity that continue being the 'keepers' in ones closet/wardrobe. Mind you, I have far too many 'keepers' alongside the new (to me) purchases. Bigger storage needed! I actually prefer the updated blue heels with the outfit and I personally really like blue tights.
ReplyDeleteI love the handkerchief hem on the cardigan, and I don't see why you can't divert from the original if you want to!

I love that you recreate a look that you liked in the past! That scarf is gorg btw! I keep WAY to much stuff.. its bad. LOL I never want to part with it.

I love the purple cardi and dress together - they work really well. The blue tights look great with the new heels you chose too! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're really making me think about how old some of the pieces in my wardrobe are - I wonder if I'd be able to do anything like this! Something to think about once I'm back into 'regular' clothes again, I could try recreate my favourite outfits....
