{outfit} A Mix of Textures

I keep forgetting I have these crazy awesome suede pants in my closet. I just gravitate toward my jeans so often that I don't think about my other pant options. I call these my swishy pants because they make a funny noise whenever I move, ha ha. This top was a buy during Piperlime's closeout sale. It was the piece in the order I was most excited about but it gets the least wear. I've only worn it one or two other times. But I'm liking the mix of textures when you mix the velvet, smooth "silk" and suede!

Cardigan: Banana Republic c/o Westfield Trumbull, Top: Piperlime, Suede Pants: Blank (South Moon Under), Sandals: Franco Sarto (DSW), Necklace: Madewell

  1. Those are pretty great - are they sort of an olive green in color?

    1. Yep, olive! And in some light they look a little brighter. Sadly I didn't realize the color was a little off until I was home, haha. That's what happens when Mom takes photos instead of Dad ;)

  2. I like what you have put together here. The top looks great tucked into those pants, especially with the cardigan on top!

  3. It's always great to pull out some pants other than jeans, and that top is so pretty! I miss Piperlime. (I miss getting to spend my credit card reward dollars there, haha)
    And sandals!
