{outfit} Who Says You Can't Wear Black & Brown?

Who says you can't wear black and brown together? I think this outfit looks just fine and I'm wearing two different shades of brown with my black vest. Although, I guess it could be considered dark gray. Either way, the colors work well together, don't you think? The mild weather we had in December made it possible for me to get more use out of my vests, always a plus! This may be my favorite of my vests because the (faux) fur is so soft!

  1. Adorable! Black and brown is one of my favorite combos...rules were meant to be broken anyway!

  3. I've never actually heard that black and brown were a bad combo. I think the right shades of brown paired with black can look very chic and it can also warm up the look of an outfit :)

  5. Such silly style 'rules' (same as 'blue and green should never be seen') - definitely a rule to be broken. And you demonstrate beautifully why brown and black are the perfect pairing.

  6. Black and brown can absolutely be worn together - I mean, what is leopard print if not black and brown together?
Already missing the mild December days dearly.
