The day after Thanksgiving instead of braving the crowded stores my family and I headed to Jones Family Farm, as we do every year to find our perfect Christmas tree! I don't buy a live tree for myself since I'm far too lazy to care for it, so I put up a fake tree in my house. But I'm at my parents often enough that I get to enjoy it.

Ah, that's what I call festive. The Christmas trees AND that wonderful Stella McCartney sweater - but of course you were going to dress appropriately for the all-importnat choosing of the family tree!

Your knit looks so cosy and festive, perfect for going out to pick up a Christmas tree! :)
ReplyDeleteWe only had a real Christmas tree once - even though I was tiny, I remember finding the needles EVERYWHERE. We didn't have one again, fake tree all the way, haha! Safest option for the dog too!

I always loved going to the tree farm, walking around and cutting down the perfect tree. We haven't done it in years now... I ventured out there today but got a little sticker shock and overwhelmed by all the people there. It was Lowes parking lot for me...

I wish our tiny apartment had room for a tree. I have permanent white Christmas lights up all year though :).
