Sometimes when I'm browsing online stores I see outfits that I can recreate with pieces I already own and save them. I've had the inspiration for this outfit saved since May 2014 and FINALLY wore it...oops! I don't have a black button-down so I improvised with my DKNY cozy and turned it into a shirt. I think my look came out pretty good, what do you think?
Jacket: Evan Picone (Coco's $10 sale) Top: DKNY cozy (Marshalls), Jeans: J Brand (Marshalls), R2D2 Necklace c/o Kohl's, Flats: Chanel (Roundabout Resale), Bag: Chanel (Madison Avenue Couture)
Inspiration outfit via Net-a-Porter. MM6 Maison Margiela Wool-blend felt coat, TOME Shirt, Rag & bone Jeans, Acne Studios Pumps, Maison Martin Margiela Ring, Maison Martin Margiela Shoulder bag

I love this outfit, it's so streamlined! And you nailed it, in terms of the outfit that inspired this look! I save sooo many outfits, and I probably have looks from even earlier than May 2014 that I've been meaning to attempt in real life.

This is a great look - comfy and casual but polished. The oversized blazer is a fun piece.
