This is what I wore on Sunday for our family's Labor Day get together. The sweater didn't stay on long but I thought it made the outfit a bit more interesting. One of my uncle's said I looked like the 70s because of my jeans and shoes - which is what I was going for. Unfortunately when I took off the shoes the top part RIPPED from the soles. Just ripped clean off...how does that happen?! See the photo I posted on Instagram here.
Tank: Cynthia Rowley (Marshalls), Sweater: Kohl's, Jeans: Free People (Marshalls), Heels: Jessica Simpson (hand-me-down from Lydia, she got them from TJ Maxx), Sunglasses: Ray Ban 'Emma' (Marshalls)
love your jeans...
ReplyDeleteIts a cool look with a 70s vibe indeed… and oh, I saw the picture of the shoes via Instagram, what a bummer!
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy that they broke like that! And I love the 70s feel of this - those jeans are awesome.

The stripey top is so cute, and I actually had the exact same thing happen to a different pair of my shoes (lol) only I was in New Haven and had to walk several blocks back to the car with the broken shoe. But my cobbler fixed them up.

You look '70s-inspired in the very best way! I hope you have a cobbler fix your shoes. They're so pretty!

Those jeans are so cool! Love the 70's look without being over the top. It's a shame we don't get to see those sandals more the color is gorgeous and they look amazing. Next time show them off a bit more. :)
ReplyDeleteLoving your blog. Following you now. :)
take care
