{outfit} Another Little Black Dress
Funny story: I've added 3 little black dresses to my closet in the past 12 months. That brings my total count up to 3. They are all vastly different. First is a knitted dress by Phillip Lim, shown here and in this post from Greece. The other two are both Jason Wu, one is a shirt dress, the other is a little more modern (I just bought it so I don't have an outfit post to share.) One thing they have in common is a fun little twist. This particular dress has a cute tie-front and a flap in the back that moves to show a little bit of skin in the wind. Also, all three were purchased at Roundabout Resale in Westport.

I own an embarrassing number of little black dresses. It's ridiculous. This is a great one for your collection though - I love the fit.

I only recently got into stocking up on basic items, so I only have 3 LBDs in my closet right now as well. But they are so versatile and so easily appropriate for almost any occasion!

I think if you like you can buy even 12 black dresses and I will understand. LBD is perfect wardrobe staple, especially if it looks so gorgeous on you.

ReplyDeleteIt's funny, I normally really dislike dresses that tie in the front (because I feel like it looks like the dress had too many arms or something), but this one works... I think because the ties are thin (and don't resemble sleeves). I really like it.
ReplyDeleteI'm also a bit jealous (oops!) that you own something Burberry Prorsum. I am addicted to oggling those studded jackets they oftentimes come out with, but have yet to commit to purchasing. I love those loafers though! I love the print (are they calf hair?)
