In contrast to yesterday's post, where I didn't want to wear all black, here's a black outfit! As you can see, my mood changes on the day. This is an outfit I find myself wearing over and over again because it's so easy. Some people don't like repeating outfits, I say why not?! If you like it, wear it again. Most people won't notice, and if they do, who cares?
I just love how the sweater barely comes above the hem of my skirt, the play in proportion makes me feel a lot taller than my 5'2" height. The sweater isn't supposed to be this long, but I bought a size large because it was all they had and I liked it. As long as I don't button it, you'd never know that it's the wrong size. I believe it was only $20 and I've had it for at least 4 years.
And how cute are these bow earrings from Lauren Conrad's collection at Kohl's?
Top: Cullen (RueLaLa), Sweater: Tahari (TJ Maxx), Skirt: T by Alexander Wang (NET-A-PORTER), Shoes: Vince Camuto (Marshalls), Tights c/o Wolford, Earrings: LC by Lauren Conrad c/o Kohl's
Your skirt looks really cozy.
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm totally on board for an black/grey outfit. And I also really like the cardigan - the length is perfect on you.

I agree with you- there is nothing wrong with repeating outfits. We pick out the clothes we love- why only wear them once????

Love that printed cardi, so nice with the black and grey! :) Your skirt is really cute too. I agree on you with repeating clothes and outfits too - there isn't enough wardrobe space to only wear things once, haha!
ReplyDeleteAlso, it's been a while since I've stopped by your blog (sorry!) but I love the new look, really nice!

An oversized, slouchy sweater is one of those perfect winter pieces, paired with a curve hugging skirt it's the perfect balance.
