{outfit} Experiment in Layering

I've been trying to experiment more with layering my clothes. So to get more wear out of this peplum top I decided to wear a matching long sleeve top underneath. I also wanted to wear these Cole Haan sandals at least once before it gets too cold for wearing sandals without socks or tights.

Tank: J Cooper (Lord & Taylor, gift), Silk Top: thrifted, Jeans: Michael Kors (Marshalls, gift), Sandals: Cole Haan 'Minetta' (Amazon), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop), Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Gilt), Bracelets c/o 31 Bits

  2. Oh that's a clever idea! I usually layer over a peplum but it's nice to show it off

  8. I love all the layering and the blue jeans work so great with the purple. I still love these shoes so much, I will occasionally see them in the clearance section of Marshall's but of course, never in my size. I'm so glad you were able to get them.

I have issues with layering, I have to admit I am not good at it.
