I wore this the same weekend as my birthday brunch when my family went to the pumpkin patch - a tradition of ours, though we hadn't all been in a couple years. I went straight from my Aunt's house (I was there the night before for a massage and movie night) so I didn't have time to change into old boots, luckily my new ones made it through okay after I wiped them down.
I always love the pumpkin patch. The place we go has beautiful views and tons of pumpkins to choose from. In addition to my pumpkin I also bought a bunch of adorable gourds to put on the mantel above the fireplace!

I haven't gone to pick pumpkins in years either, but it's always a fun way to spend a few hours during the fall. The green sweater with the orange pumpkins really pops too!

So,you go there and you buy your pumpkin? or they are free?
ReplyDeleteJust a silly question, but you know "halloween is an american tradition" so you know the rules ;)
Pretty pictures dear!
Ohh pumpkin picking! I was totally too lazy to do it this year and just grabbed some from the farm stand instead of venturing out into the park, but after seeing everyone's adventures I kind of wish I had. Next year! Also, I'm loving those vintage rings! So pretty!!

Now that is one gorgeous pumpkin patch! I'm a little jealous, I gotta say. Have you seen some of the pumpkin decoration inspiration on Pinterest? I recently saw one where someone used a drill to make tiny holes in a pattern of a flower or something. It looked amazing with the light shining through!
ReplyDeleteJealous! I am dying for a trip to the pumpkin patch but don't think it is in the cards for me this year :(
