{featured} DKNY for FEED Capsule Collection

I was planning on posting another outfit today, but then net-a-porter sent over some really great news that I had to share! DKNY and FEED have teamed up to raise money for the United Nations World Food Program by way of a three piece capsule collection, available for purchase at net-a-porter.

FEED began in 2006 when model activist Lauren Bush designed a bag to benefit the United Nations World Food Program. To date, FEED has raised enough money through the sale of products to provide over 60 million school meals to children around the world. All FEED products are made with sustainable materials designed as an alternative to disposable paper and plastic bags, and manufactured under fair labor standards.

With each item sold from this capsule collection, DKNY will make a guaranteed donation to support the work of FEED. There are three pieces in the collection and details on what your purchase will do may be read below:

• With the purchase of a City Survival canvas and shell tote you will supply 100 emergency meals to children.
• With the purchase of a canvas and shell diaper bag you will provide micronutrient powder for a mother and her baby for a full year. 
• With the purchase of matte-rubber Wellington boots you will supply 25 emergency meals to children.

FEED also has many other items from bracelets to t-shirts available on their website. If you can't afford to spend the money for a DKNY piece, you can still help out by picking up a bracelet or other small trinket.
