{daily inspiration} Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2012
You may all breathe a sigh of relief, this is my last Fall 2012 post, from now on it's all Spring! But I couldn't not post these Marc Jacobs collections. The Marc Jacobs collection was very bird lady from Mary Poppins meets pilgrim and I LOVED it! But I could do without the hats, a bit coocoo.
The Marc by Marc Jacobs collection is way more wearable, as usual, and I would wear soooo many of the looks! I am so in love with the glasses, coats, dresses and everything! *dies* Can you tell Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite designers...if you couldn't tell by now, shame on you! But if you are a new follower you are forgiven.
Gotta love Marc Jacobs, right? An amazing collection! I love the trench coats, especially the one that looks like a dusty gold color :)
ReplyDeletei love Marc Jacobs.... but sometimes I wonder about his designs. They are so strange! I really like the flowy red and blue dress but that's about it! Some of his designs absolutely blow me away though!

ReplyDeleteI don't even know what to think of those fur and feather hats. The models may as well be naked, because my eyes refuse to look at anything else.
ReplyDeletethe gold coat and navy and orange floral however, are fabulous.
So it finally become spring and now this has me wishing for fall. I just want to curl up in those knits!!

Whoa. Way too crazy for my taste. I don't like it at all. As always, I like the M by MJ collection, but I've seen stronger from him in years past.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great collection. I love how he expresses his creativity through the clothes. Even though some of it may be a little too much for my day to day life, I would definitely take cues from it. The colors, texture, structure of the clothes. I'm really digging the orange and navy dress. The scarves- definitely do-able. Your posts always make me more ready for the next season. Thanks Meg!
