Last week I mentioned I would be doing some gift guides and Lydia requested gifts for the fussy father, aka one who "doesn't want anything and doesn't like sports." You guys love to hit me with the hard ones, don't you. This is pretty much like my Dad though, he doesn't really need or want anything (he does like sports, but not in a collectible way.) I say go with something corny that is unique to your father, a good book or movie, maybe something for the car, etc. You could always fall back on the trusted tie, too. [I'm showing some expensive options but you can obviously find cheaper ones]

My boyfriend isn't a dad but that car vacuum is definitely something I'd get him! ♥ My dad is more into golf so I tend to give him polo shirts.

good picks. My father in law is the worst person to shop for. Last year we ended up framing a corny picture of one of his fave childhood singers. Classic.

Love this round-up. Love the vacuum. My husband would be all about that. Ha.
ReplyDeleteVery helpful! You've given me some great ideas. But what do I do for my father-in-law who insists he doesn't want anything, no present at all?! Haha, there's a tricky man to buy for.

Men are so difficult when it comes to choosing presents for them!

Men can be quite difficult. My husband's step-father is difficult to buy for. I actually love the idea of the car vacuum. Would have never thought of it, but it's handy!

My dad would love that sweater!
ReplyDeleteHaha, sounds like everyone knows a man or two who is impossible to shop for!
ReplyDeleteI think the sweater is a pretty safe bet... in the past I tried movies and ties and years (yes years) later I found them sitting still with their tags and shrink wrap intact.
