It was 6pm when I took these pictures so they aren't the best quality since I was losing light, grr! And sorry for the photo overload, as usual...
Jacket: Valentino via The Outnet $2, Top: Express $25, Jeans: Free People (Marshalls) $30, Booties: No.704b. (DSW) $20, Watch: Michael Kors, Purse: Marc by Marc Jacobs
[UPDATE: I don't want to get the jacket altered because it's to intricate and I'm deathly afraid they will ruin it, AND I've never been to a tailer before because I'm scared of people :p I may seem outgoing on the blog but in real life I am afraid of everything, I have social phobia]
Maybe the jacket can work better as layering piece once it gets cooler - since it's bigger you will be able to put more knits under it
ReplyDeleteAnd this 6pm darkness makes me so sad.
I don't think the jacket looks strange at all...and you are so right about those jeans - gorgeous!!!!

Beautiful coat!

I love that jacket! I'm still so bitter about that sale, though, since my invitation got lost in my spam folder. UGH.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya on the tailor thing. I've had my jeans hemmed before, but that's about it. I have a whole batch of clothes that need work done: hems shortened, new zippers, etc., but I don't want to go because I'm afraid they'll mess them up. And the (cheap) tailors here don't speak English very well, so I'm extra nervous that something will get lost in translation and my clothes will be ruined.
Great jacket! Loving that color

Haha, you have so much designer stuff these days! I really like this jacket; it looks like a way nicer version of one I used to have, which I always loved wearing in the fall. Love that processing you did on the one pic!
ReplyDeleteYou look pretty again! Love all those pictures.
ReplyDeleteAs LyddieGal said you can use it as a layering piece, cause it's a little to big!

Straight from my heart
Jacket looks amazing even if its a little big :)
ReplyDeleteI remember when you got this jacket! SUCH a great find, and yes, it would probably be VERY expensive to alter it, but I still think it would be worth it even if it ended up costing you $100 or more (which could easily be the case). Just think: a custom fitted Valentino jacket for $100-$200 isn't really that bad!! And you'll wear it more if you like the way it fits!
ReplyDeleteAs for the social phobia, girl you gotta get out there! You have a light inside you and you need to share it with people in real life! Maybe going to the tailor would be a good start :P
ohhh my...this jacket is perfect for me..i love it!
ReplyDeletehttp://chicneverland.blogspot.com/
you have to get over your phobia and get this jacket tailored. It looks cute on you now but I think you would wear it a lot more if you got it fitted. You can do it!
ReplyDeleteI don't think this jacket looks bad on you at all. It looks a little big but it can be used for chunkier knits and you wouldn't have a problem.
ReplyDeleteI envy you for that jacket, looks so great on you even if it's a little big!
ReplyDeleteThat Valentino jacket is just gorgeous. Love it!! :)SarahD
ReplyDeleteloooove your jacket!!

Whaaaat?? 2 bucks?! You lucky girl! It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeletethat jacket is stunning! xo
ReplyDeleteOh that jackets suits you well in colour, but I see what you mean when it comes to shape. It is a little over sized for you, so remaking it a little would be good. It exists good tailors out there, you just need to find the right one. Plus it will help you to work a little on social phobia, I know how it can be like, even if I believe I am more an introvert and a lone wolf then actually being afraid of other people. Hope it goes well!
ReplyDeleteoh it is a darling jacket. I adore Valentino.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great looking jacket and looks very good on you! :)

I love the coat, really beautiful, such a cute cut.
ReplyDeletei think the jacket fits fine! and the color is amazing on you :)
ReplyDeleteThat jacket is incredible, and it looks beautiful on you!! I can't believe you got it for $2. Amazing find!!
ReplyDeleteYou found those jeans at Marshalls? I need to go there more!
ReplyDeleteLovely look. I am even scared of taking clothes to the cleaners if they are vintage and delicate, because they won't treat it with a mother's love. Find someone REALLy good if you must alter it, otherwise it looks good that way.
