This Week in Fashion

Well this has been a crazy week. We had no work on Monday because the power was still out from Irene. Then Tuesday stuff started to go back to normal. After work I went back to my new place and my roommate and I went for a walk to the beach since we hadn't done it yet and we moved 2 weeks ago...shameful!  Our house was flooded from the hurricane so we are slowly getting the carpets dry and cleaning them, not fun, but that's what we get for living near the water.

This weekend is a 3 day weekend because of Labor Day, SCORE! Saturday I'm going to NYC to meet up with one of my favorite bloggers, you'll find out who soon enough but I'm keeping you in suspense (unless you read my Twitter, then you may have seen). We're going to do some shopping, eating and maybe some drinking too if we're feeling wild enough! Then I have no plans for Sunday and Monday, I'll probably just hang around the house and watch movies.

Thursday: Dress: Marc by Marc Jacobs (eBay) $27, Sweater: Forever 21 $12, Necklace: c/o Towne and Reese, Flats: H&M $13, Watch: Michael Kors, Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Friday: Jeans: American Eagle $0, Top: Rumors (Marshalls) $12, Sweater: American Eagle $0, Wegdes: Burberry (the Outnet) $80
I decided to do something a little different with my hair this morning so I did a French braid! What do you think?!
I got into work early today just so I could post this around the normal time instead of tonight when I go back to my old place to watch project runway. :p I can't wait until we have Internet and tv at my new place!

    Oh man, I didn't know you were affected by Irene. That sucks that your house got flooded :( How the heck do you dry out your carpets? I just imagine walking around with a hairdryer...

    And speaking of hair, your hair looks amazing that way! I have no idea how you were able to do it on yourself though...I can't french braid my own hair.

    I love your flats on your Thursday outfit and I like to do braids as well but I prefer fishtail braids because it is so easy to do! LOL! Anyway, you might want to check out LIFO.
