I went shopping yesterday with a nice list of what I wanted to find and I walked out with NONE of it...the only thing I got was a pair of leopard flats at H&M for $13 that will replace my old pair...don't you hate when you can't find anything? GRRR!!
I tried on a bunch of really cute dresses at H&M but I couldn't bring myself to spend $35 on them, and there was one that was $20 but the shoulders didn't fit right (I was thinking of having my mom take them off, but I'm not sure if she'd be able to)...and THEN there was a bodycon tiger dress for $18 but I wouldn't have worn it that much...But I did take some photos to show you guys...do you think I should have gotten 1, 2, 3 or all of them? XD (I may be going back to the same mall next weekend so I could pick some up if I change my mind...)
The first 2 are $34.95, the second is the $19.99 one that fits weird (but I still love it...) and the last is $17.95. The quality of the photos isn't that great...but you can still see most of what is going on, except for the black one...it's a black version of the green dress I almost bought a long time ago but didn't (and regretted...)
I hate it when that happens (but I have to admit, it's pretty rare for me not to find anything I like). I like the top two dresses best, which is probably annoying as they're the most expensive...
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely week xxx
you got nice avatars :D

Love those shoes!
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are fantastic :-)
ReplyDeleteAww, those shoes are very cute<3
ReplyDeleteI like so much of that tiger(the last pic) dress *w*
Those shoes are lovely! And I agree how annoying it can be when you can't find anything. I do love the black dress and the blue colour of the third though! x
ReplyDeleteThe second and third dresses are beautiful! I love your Chanel nail varnish too - the colour is gorgeous :) x
ReplyDeleteI really like the second one (the navy blue number) - it looks like it would be pretty versatile too. And, of course, I adore the shoes!

ReplyDeleteIsabel @ Walk of Fashion
Hmm, I like them all but I think you were right in not buying any of them. They look good on you, but I think there are better fish in the sea (or, uh, dresses in the mall). The tiger one looks good, but you're right...how often are you going to wear it?
ReplyDeleteAt least you saved your money!
Great deal on the shoes, though. If I wore flats, I would definitely have picked those up!
Sorry to hear you didn't have much luck...you the second dress is really cute. :)
ReplyDeleteThe blue ruffle dress! Ditch the black sash for a skinny belt, then pull it out a little to loosen it. Add a pair of grey or black tights and a pair of ankle boots, then throw on a faux fur vest and you're in business!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Widening the collar might fix the "shoulder dilemma."
ReplyDeleteLove the royal blue color on you...that ruffle dress is adorable.
ReplyDeleteXO Lisa

I always have shopping days like that, and sometimes sales are so deceiving and make me buy something that I maybe didn't need or want! But the leopard flats are so cute, I've been searching for a nice pair for a while!

Love the last pic!
ReplyDeleteHon, considering you're the girl who can find Marc Jacobs dresses for $30, I wouldn't bother with the H&M ones. I think the third one is cute but meh, save your money for better things (plus, the may have new stuff next week)! ; )
ReplyDeleteI tried the 4th one on ...it's so nice! Hope you'll come and visit my blog! xxx

I feel your pain! The only time I CAN'T find things is when I'm actually looking for something and have $$ to spend. What is that about?

Cute flats! Not a total bust :) I love dress number 2 and you are right, without the shoulders 3 would be a rocking dress!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate when you go to shop, and you can't find anything. But the 2nd dress look really cute on you

Yeah, but that's cos JK Rowling insisted on keeping Harry Potter all-English. Remember when Steven Spielberg wanted to direct and cast Haley Joel Osment? And there was even talk of casting Rosie O'Donnell as Mrs. Weasley... can you imagine? That's kind of what I feel happened to A Little Princess...
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes!
ReplyDeleteAnd those dresses look beyond gorgeous on you!
I love that you are such a frugal shopper. I should really learn from your example. And the shoes you did buy are so cute. Don't worry! I find shopping so freaking hard sometimes too - most times I have this ideal item in my mind, but I can never find it exactly the way I like it. Having high expectations suck. Well, I do love that blue dress on you - it doesn't look like it fits weird at all!
ReplyDeletexo Sherrie
love the flats. i really like the blue dress too. and i LOVE the tiger dress. it's so stella mccartney.
