Fun Stuff & Requested Dress for Less: Colonel Mustard's Jacket

Sorry there was no post yesterday, life caught up with me & I didn't have time along with commenting on everyone's blogs & other junk I had to do. (I have to read 50 pages of Harry Potter every night to finish in time for the new movie premiere ;) I always reread the books before a movie comes out)  Also, this is pretty cool, my Harry Potter collection is featured in a book; Harry Potter Collector's Handbook! My name is all over the book wherever one of my photos is! It says "Photo from the collection of Megan [my last name]"  I'm even on the acknowledgments page: "Megan [last name], for her invaluable assistance and images from her collection." WOOT!

Now on to the fashion part of the post post, please excuse the doofy title, but this request made me think of Clue (the game AND the movie, if you haven't seen the movie BUY IT! It's so funny) Anyway, I digress, 20 York Street has asked me to help her find a mustard trench coat or cardigan for under $80 Canadian (about $78 US).

Top Left: ASOS $62.25 CA/$60.66 US
Top Middle: ASOS $24.20 CA/$23.59 US
Bottom Left: Karmaloop $54.22 CA /$52.95 US (sadly they only have XXS :/)
Bottom Middle: Overstock $43.09 CA/$41.99 US
Bottom Right: Etsy (link sent directly to her since there's only 1 ;) )  $59.55 CA/$58US

  14. I love the two from ASOS. Yellow is such an amazing colour. It has the ability to literally BRIGHTEN an otherwise dull outfit. <3

  21. You found a fellow Clue geek in me! I giggled at the title before I even read the rest. I'm now kicking myself for passing on a yellow Ellen Tracy trench last year. I went for black instead, it's more practical but less fun.

Secondly, sorry babe, I have sporadic internet access during the Conference so I didn't get a chance to see all my e-mails.

Lastly, wow, you outdo yourself, every single time! These pieces are fabulous! The Asos are great pieces and the price, who can complain? I really love the way you cater it to our colourful dollars, it so thoughtful of you!

Thanks again and I'm off shopping! Girl, you are one super talented stylist!

  28. Yellow is such a fun, happy color. I think my favorite version has to be a dark, rich mustard color. I want a pair of wide legged pants in that color!
