I wore this on Saturday for a morning of shopping with my Mom. It was a nice Spring-like day, except for the huge gusts of wind. But I didn't need a coat, so I'm not complaining! One of our stops was
DSW, and since I'm doing the French Wardrobe Challenge I couldn't buy anything. That didn't stop me from
trying on a bunch of cool shoes though. In the end, I bought a pair of adorable
Keds sneakers (teal), which are a basic so they don't count in my 5, woo! Hopefully they will be comfortable for my walks to work; plus, they were only $18.

Good for you for keeping your shopping in check! Off to a good start! I've been seeing a lot of sneakers incorporated into dressier looks lately and I want to attempt it, but I'm always afraid I'll look like one of those office worker commuters (you know, pencil skirt, white reeboks.)

That cashmere cape is SUPER GORG!! And love knowing that you are the doing the 5 Pieces too! It's been kind of hard. I need to do a post about a cashmere dress I got off ebay as one of my pieces!
