First up is a look worn by Kat (Christina Ricci) in Casper. I have always loved this outfit and it is made up of basic pieces, so it won't really go out of style, the pieces just may tighten up a bit or loosen back up based on what is "in". Luckily for us, oversized pieces are back so we can recreate it more closely. Kat had a thing for henleys in this film and, if I recall correctly (which I know I do), she was always in one (except for the Halloween party.) All you need is a green henley, open crochet sweater/cardigan, jeans and a small heeled ankle boot. Oh, and a big ring for your thumb!

I love October too - when it's crisp and alternately misty then bright and NOT just damp and grey (like today). Definitely need that layering for the chilly days ahead.
