Welcome to the first (and only) installment of the Intern Diaries! Since I only worked 3 days a week it didn't make sense to do the old version of "
This Week in Fashion," so I decided to do a large recap! Moving on, I have been interning in New York City for a fashion website as a graphic designer and the dress code is pretty casual; we have to look presentable & professional. I think I've been doing a pretty good job with it.
As I have been hinting, I have some big news! After only 2 weeks my boss and the President of the company decided they liked my work so much that they wanted to hire me on a more permanent basis! We're starting out at 4 days per week to see how things go, so exciting! It's going to be hard getting up at 5:40 almost every day, but it should be worth it. Monday was my first official day as a freelancer, now I am officially working in the city! Woohoo!
I'm still commuting because I can't afford to move to the city yet, but I assume I will end up there eventually...
