First of all, if you haven't seen The Ugly Dachshund, shame on you! Second, if so, check out this post where I talk a little about it. Moving on, Fran Garrison, played by Suzanne Pleshette, has wonderful style in this movie.Yesterday, when I was checking out Net-a-Porter's What's New section, this dress SCREAMED Fran, so I had to do an outfit recreation for us all to enjoy!
This is such a classic look that has spanned the tests of time and is still perfectly in style. A gorgeous LBD, black pumps and simple jewelry in the form of pearl earrings. This outfit is very expensive, but you can definitely find cheaper pieces, perhaps I'll do that later this week if I can't take outfit pictures...
Dress: RED Valentino $1150
Pumps: Jimmy Choo $495
Pearl Earrings: Kate Spade New York $45
[the dress link is being a little wonky, ii'll try to fix it later]

OMG, I found your post when I googled images of "The Ugly Dachshund" and can't even explain how excited I am that someone else appreciates this movie as much as I do! It's seriously the cutest film, isn't it? I love their perfect lives with their perfect little house and all the cute doggies running around. And Fran is super stylish and a perfect representation of that time period- I love it! :)
